SERVING AT NEW LIFE CHURCH

WE DON’T HAVE TO, WE GET TO!

 

We have serving teams across all three of our campuses and across all of our different departments/ministries. Keep reading for some of the serving opportunities available on a regular basis, or if you know where you want to serve you can let us know!

 

SERVE CENTRAL 

This team faithfully serves our very own team members by providing refreshments, prayer and encouragement to them during services and special events. 

  • Serve Central Host – This person welcomes our Life Team members by assisting them with check-in, name tags and orientation.

  • Greeters –  This friendly team loves people and makes them feel welcomed here at New Life Church. They greet guests with a smile, encouragement and personal connections so that hearts are open to the Gospel message.

  • Java Crew – This energetic team connects with guests by offering a hot cup of coffee and a warm welcome.

  • Bookstore – This team assists guests in finding the perfect book or Bible, and assists in ordering resources online.

  • Ushers/Communion – These mighty men and women prepare people for a positive worship experience by helping them to a seat, facilitating the offering, maintaining a distraction-free environment and assisting with communion services.

  • Connection Center – This team provides information and assistance in registering for upcoming events, classes, life groups or anything else going on in the church. In addition, they interact with first-time attenders and answer any questions they may have.

PRAYER TEAM

This team of trained intercessors covers the weekend and midweek services in prayer, preparing the way for the Lord. Join this team that is blazing the trail for God in our city!

NEW LIFE KIDS

This team creates a fun and safe environment where children are consistently exposed to the real love of Jesus. They invest in the spiritual lives of our children through worship, videos, skits, small groups, games and more.

  • New Life Kids Check-In This team welcomes families as they arrive at our New Life Kids area, facilitates the check-in process, and ensures the safety and care of the children.

ACCELERATE YOUTH

Join the team that is building the next generation! Students experience dynamic worship, relevant teachings, relational life group settings, mission trips, and life-changing camps! Partner with us on a journey of faith with today’s middle school and high school students.

WORSHIP

This dynamic team creates an environment for our guests where they can encounter the presence of the living God through music and worship!

PRODUCTION 

Bring your creativity and tech knowledge to this critical “behind-the scenes” team that reaches thousands by delivering Word and worship through sound, lighting, camera, video and other visual elements.

FACILITIES

This team works diligently behind the scenes to maintain a spirit of excellence in every area of our church and grounds. Serving opportunities include baptism, conferences and special events.

SECURITY

This team cares about the safety and comfort of all of our guests. If you relish the great outdoors, look good in a “uniform,” and enjoy telling people where to go, this is the team for you!
