“Healing and Wholeness From the Inside Out”

2 Peter 1:4 — Through these He has given us His very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.
Our Undeniable Problem
Romans 3:23 — For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s perfect standard.
Romans 6:23 — For the wages of sin is death…
God’s Unbreakable Promise
2 Corinthians 5:17-21 — Therefore, whoever is in Christ is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ…not counting people’s sins against them…God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God.
Sin, shame, and brokenness can be replaced with:
New LIFE (I am a new creation).
A new STANDING (I am reconciled to a Holy God. He no longer counts my sin against me!).
Romans 8:1 — There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.
A new IDENTITY (I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus).
Isaiah 53:3-5 — He was despised and rejected—a man of sorrows, acquainted with deepest grief. We turned our backs on him and looked the other way. He was despised, and we did not care. Yet it was our weaknesses he carried; it was our sorrows that weighed him down. And we thought his troubles were a punishment from God, a punishment for his own sins! But he was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. He was beaten so we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed.
Because of Jesus, I can be WHOLE and I can be HEALED.
