Luke 18:1-8 (NLT) — One day Jesus told his disciples a story to show that they should always pray and never give up. “There was a judge in a certain city,” he said, “who neither feared God nor cared about people. A widow of that city came to him repeatedly, saying, ‘Give me justice in this dispute with my enemy.’ The judge ignored her for a while, but finally he said to himself, ‘I don’t fear God or care about people, but this woman is driving me crazy. I’m going to see that she gets justice, because she is wearing me out with her constant requests!’”Then the Lord said, “Learn a lesson from this unjust judge. Even he rendered a just decision in the end. So, don’t you think God will surely give justice to his chosen people who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? I tell you, he will grant justice to them quickly! But when the Son of Man returns, how many will he find on the earth who have faith?”
PRAYER WORKS.
If all the “unjustness and wrongfulness” around us have taken a TOLL on you, don’t GIVE UP or RUN away. Instead, get your FAITH UP and LEAN in.
Stop confessing your LIMITATIONS and begin declaring His GOODNESS.
Jeremiah 32:27 (NLT) — “I am the Lord, the God of all the peoples of the world. Is anything too hard for me?
Matthew 19:26 (NLT) — Jesus looked at them intently and said, “Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But with God everything is possible.”
Faith is not EARNING God’s benevolence. Faith is about BELIEVING and RECEIVING God’s goodness.
“I have all the time, power, and resources to do everything God wants me to do.”
“Everything I need to be everything that God has made me to be, is available to me right now.”
Align your WORDS and your WAYS with those of the Lord’s in order to position yourself for His FAVOR.
Daniel 10:2-3 (NLT) — When this vision came to me, I, Daniel, had been in mourning for three whole weeks. All that time I had eaten no rich food. No meat or wine crossed my lips, and I used no fragrant lotions until those three weeks had passed.
Daniel 10:12-14 (NLT) — Then he said, “Don’t be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day you began to pray for understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your request has been heard in heaven. When God gives you FAVOR, it’s not just to BLESS you – SHARE it!
Psalm 66:16 (NLT) — Come and listen, all you who fear God, and I will tell you what he did for me.
Luke 8:38-39 (NLT) — The man who had been freed from the demons begged to go with him. But Jesus sent him home, saying, “No, go back to your family, and tell them everything God has done for you.” So, he went all through the town proclaiming the great things Jesus had done for him.
