“Family and Friends”

Matthew 6:33 — But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

Why seek God first?

1. I have ACCESS TO Jesus and His spiritual blessing.
   
   Romans 5:2 (CSB) — We have also obtained access through him by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we boast in the hope of the glory of God.
   
   Ephesians 1:3 (NIV) — Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.
   
   Galatians 5:22-23 (NLT) — But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
   
   How do I access more of Jesus and His spiritual blessings?

2. I go ALL IN, rather than following Jesus out of convenience.
   
   James 4:8 (NIV) — Come near to God and he will come near to you.
   
   Joshua 24:15 (NLT) — But as for me and my family, we will serve the Lord.
   
   What does it look like for me and my family to go all in?

3. I am committed to the LARGE GATHERING of believers and growing in friendship alongside a CORE GROUP of Christ followers.
   
   Hebrews 10:24-25 (NIV) — And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.
   

4. I cultivate a lifestyle and house OF PRAYER.
   
   Thessalonians 5:16-18 (NKJV) — Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
   
   Jeremiah 33:3 (NIV) — Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.
