Syncing Up With The Dreams God Has For You

1. Give the Lord FOCUSED ATTENTION so that you can get in sync with Him.

   Exodus 3:1 — One day Moses was tending the flock of his father-in-law, Jethro, the priest of Midian. He led the flock far into the wilderness and came to Sinai, the mountain of God. There the angel of the Lord appeared to him in a blazing fire from the middle of a bush. Moses stared in amazement. Though the bush was engulfed in flames, it didn’t burn up. “This is amazing,” Moses said to himself. “Why isn’t that bush burning up? I must go see it.” When the Lord saw Moses coming to take a closer look, God called to him from the middle of the bush, “Moses! Moses!” “Here I am!” Moses replied. “Do not come any closer,” the Lord warned. “Take off your sandals, for you are standing on holy ground.” “I am the God of your father —the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.” When Moses heard this, he covered his face because he was afraid to look at God.

2. Give the Lord your TRUST because the dreams He has for you are not based on your natural abilities but on His supernatural ATTRIBUTES.

   Exodus 3:10 — “Now go, for I am sending you to Pharaoh. You must lead my people Israel out of Egypt.”

   PREEMINENCE: I AM who I AM. (3:14)

   POWER: I have power to work through you. (4:1-9)

   PROVISION: I have resources to help you. (4:11-17)

3. Give the Lord your OBEDIENCE because God-Dreams are not only for your life, they will inspire, help, and reach OTHERS too.

   Exodus 4:29-31 — Then Moses and Aaron returned to Egypt and called all the elders of Israel together. Aaron told them everything the Lord had told Moses, and Moses performed the miraculous signs as they watched. Then the people of Israel were convinced that the Lord had sent Moses and Aaron. When they heard that the Lord was concerned about them and had seen their misery, they bowed down and worshiped.

   Matthew 5:14-16 — You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead, they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.
