IT’S MESSY
“Bringing God’s Power Into Relational Difficulties”
Pastor Dan Levy – May 1, 2022
Continually BRING your relational disappointments, frustrations, and letdowns to Jesus. When you do, you are inviting God’s POWER into your relationship.
Exodus 15:23-25 — When the Israelites complained about bitter water, “Moses cried out to the Lord…”
Exodus 17:2-4 — When the Israelites quarreled with Moses again over water, “Moses cried out to the Lord…”
Exodus 32:11-14 — When the Israelites made and worshipped the golden calf, “Moses implored the Lord his God…”
Numbers 11:1-3 — When the Israelites were complaining about their misfortunes, “Moses prayed to the Lord…”
Numbers 11:10-11 — When the Israelites continued wailing at the entrance of their tents, “Moses inquired of the Lord…”
Numbers 12:1-14 — When Moses’ own brother and sister challenged his leadership and his sister became sick, it says “Moses cried to the Lord…”
Ephesians 6:12 — For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.
If you bring your relational disappointments, frustrations, and letdowns to Jesus, know that God will do a POWERFUL work in you and THROUGH you.
Romans 8:28 — And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
In your relational disappointments, frustrations, and let-downs, never stop TRUSTING in the GOODNESS of God.
