If you are a first time guest, there is plenty of parking at both locations. We even have reserved parking spaces for first time guests at our Alamo facility. Click here if you need directions to either location.

As you approach the building, you will find friendly people happy to shake your hand and welcome you to New Life Church.

If you are a family with children, ask for some assistance at the welcome area so someone can direct you to our children’s ministry, Kids Town. Kid’s Town serves infants through 5th grade. When you and your child arrive, he/she will be greeted by one of our Children’s Ministry volunteers. These leaders have been trained and carefully screened, and are committed to the safety of your child. They will also assist you with our computerized check-in. Once in class your kids will love the age appropriate Bible lessons, multimedia, music, crafts, games and so much more! New Life’s Kids Town ’s goal is to show kids how much fun church can be!

If you have children 6th grade through high school, then bring them along to enjoy one of our services. We have also created an entire ministry dedicated to the needs of teenagers, called Accelerate. This lively group of teens meets on Wednesday nights at 7PM at our Alamo location. We are also exploring a second location in San Ramon in the Fall of 2009. Your teen will experience our Life Groups and meet students that genuinely love and care for each other. Every Wednesday is packed with fun, friendships and great discussions, in addition to our live worship band. This is the place to share life and grow through the challenges teens face.

If you do not have children, stop by our refreshment area and feel free to bring your coffee or refreshments into the auditorium with you. We have now gone green - we are not printing our weekly bulletin to hand out to every attendee, but we are sending electronic versions of the bulletin to our email list. The bulletin is only being printed in a very small quantity for newcomers and anyone who does not have email. Be sure to ask someone to help you find a printed copy. You can pick up a printed program for the service at the information counter. The program will give you valuable information about what events are going on at New Life Church and who you should contact to find out more information.

Our services begin with great upbeat worship music. Each song’s lyrics are posted on the side screens to make it easy to participate.

After the worship music one of our lead pastors will welcome everyone to the service and give some announcements plus highlight the weekly series that will be discussed that day.

We believe in community and getting to know one another so we make time in our service for a “Friendship Break”. This is a break to stop by the refreshment table once more, or better yet, a great chance to meet a few other new people.

A relevant life-applicable message is then given by one of our Teaching Team Pastors. We love to laugh, make the Bible clear and interesting, and will always relate it back to experiences in your everyday life. There will be notes in the program too that will include the Bible passages, as well as having them displayed on the giant side screens. Even though the weekly message discussion will last only 30 minutes, you will find yourself using it all week long.

We are a church who believes in reaching out to people at every stage of their spiritual journey. This church welcomes everyone from seekers who are considering following Christ to mature Christians who are discovering new frontiers in the relationship with Christ. We believe that God reaches out to everyone.

Our church members are excited to bring their friends because they know this is a place where people feel comfortable and can learn about Christ at their own pace.

Look around during the service, there are young adults, newly married couples, senior citizens, teenagers, single adults, families with mature children and families with young children.

Are you getting a good feel for who we are?

After the pastor concludes the weekly message, we pause in our services to reflect on our own spiritual journey. We call it a “response time.” This makes the entire day personal for you. We offer communion and a chance to have people pray with you, if you desire either of those; or you can sit and enjoy music designed for personal reflection. It’s a spiritually powerful time during our service where you grow, get encouraged or find help with whatever challenges you are facing in your life.

Also, we want an opportunity to hear from you. There will be a communication card either in your program (San Ramon) or in the pocket of the seat in front of you (Alamo). Let us know how we can serve you and what you may be interested in getting involved in. On the back side of the card is a prayer request form for you to fill out if you would like someone from our prayer team to pray for you during the week.

After you fill out your communication card, drop it in the offering basket at the end of the service. The offering is only for our regular members so don’t feel any pressure that you need to participate. New Life church members who call this church their home contribute on a weekly basis to financially support the church and God’s work through New Life.

We finish up our service with prayer and a final celebration song, ready to start a new week inspired and strong.
